With winter officially beginning this week, it’s time to make coats a part of our daily wardrobe. So what’s the biggest trend this season in outerwear? The teddy bear coat.
Pinterest reports what’s trending by tracking their highest saved pins, and this cozy coat was it. Welcome to the season of the bear! Faux fur is no stranger to being on this list but brands changed it up with this plush and fluffy variation from the norm. There are oversized cuts (my fave!), super soft fleece or plush fabrics, a range of colors and price points that can fit everyone’s budget.
For my teddy bear coat of choice, I went with this oversized ASOS option that I actually found in the men’s section of their site. Oversized, when done right, can come off effortlessly cool and give you a major off-duty feel. I kept it sleek and chic (and very East coast) with a black turtleneck and fitted leather pants. And who cares if it’s a men’s coat? That just made it even more relaxed and give me the oversized look I’m loving right now. I wore a size Medium and linked it below along with some other faves.
