The day is almost here, Valentine’s Day! Whether you’re heading out to date night or a fun night out with your girls – (yay for Galentine’s Day!) you can always dress to impress in a Paperback Boutique ensemble! Nicole and I both wore this gorgeous dress from their boutique in our own styles to give you some variations on how you can play around with a classic red dress for this Valentine’s Day celebrations!
I wore the dress with a brown fur jacket over the shoulder to give it a fancier look (perfect for a classy dinner). I stuck with patterned black tights and gold strapped heels to really draw the attention upwards and away from my tinier frame. To really make the red pop, I paired a bold red lip to tie my outfit together. The V-neck style and the flared hem on the bottom of the dress gave it a fun and flirty touch.
I love writing posts like these where we give a piece our own separate touch because you can really see the difference in our complex styles!
Nicole styled the same dress while adding touches of black throughout. She accentuated the deep V-neck and gave it a touch of rocker chic by adding a lace turtleneck underneath and Quay sunnies. She wore a deeper red lip (and yayy for her curls making an appearance) that I thought gave it the perfect GNO touch. Since the dresses did fit us a little bit bigger on the waist (we recommend buying one size smaller), she threw in an elastic belt and black pumps to really show her figure.
