I went through my four years of high school with probably as boring of a backpack as it gets, the typical black Jansport backpack. After graduating and starting college, the love story between my Jansport and I slowly faded. I found there were so many chic and easy alternatives to a backpack not only for school purposes, but that could be used as a fashion statement too. Since I was still adamant about sticking to my favorite color, (black, duh), I chose to start my third year off with my new favorite mini-backpack by TUMI. This mini leather backpack is not only perfect for holding all the joy that is an 18-credit course semester, but it also became my go-to bag outside of class. I could easily transfer out my textbooks and folders for my camera and shades and be ready to head out right from class! The TUMI’s classic black leather makes it an ideal piece that could be matched with any look and can be styled fashion-wise during any season too. To complete my everyday school look, I twirled my hair in a quick up-do, paired the bag with a lace crop top, high waisted skinnies and Prada booties.
