Whistle and Wild // Support Local

- Fashion

Chels and I are part of this amazing group of local DC bloggers called “Bubbles and Bloggers”.  I was at one of their events in Georgetown one night when our ultra fab hostess, Dani (the Editor of Blonde in the District) first introduced me to one of my soon-to-be fave local brands, Whistle and Wild.

Amanda is the Owner and Founder of this trendy, DC-based brand, Whistle and Wild.  She is sweet and stylish and when we found out she was launching a brand, the community was totally behind her ready to support.

Amanda has lived up & down the east coast from Georgia to New York where she gathered the lifestyles of those around her. Taking small pieces from each location, truly curating a unique feel throughout her boutique, her Southern influences mixed together with modern city dresses & good time vibes to round it all out.

I absolutely believe in supporting local, but I won’t contradict my own aesthetic or jeopardize my validity as an influencer to do it.  With Whistle and Wild, I didn’t have to worry about that at all!  She had curated her selection perfectly, even women with different styles could take one of her items and style it multiple ways.  I was beyond impressed and when she launched, I was happy to support!

I bought this tank, appropriately name “Everything That Matters”.  It’s a side split tank that spells out L-O-V-E in all the emojis that matter.  I layered it with a fringe hem blazer from Banana Republic (similar below), distressed jeans, and my Balmain boots.  This same top can be worn with an A-line midi skirt and Adidas to keep it street chic, or even cigarette pants and a blazer for work!

{Sneak Peek – I’ll be wearing this Whistle & Wild skirt for our relaunch party November 4th!}

Support local, check out her site, and GO {Whistle &} WILD, Darlings!
